Dog Law Ireland
Dog Law Ireland came together at a pivotal point in Ireland’s dog control landscape - shortly after the announcement of Ireland’s plan to have its first banned type of dog. It was at that time that something we’d all long been aware of was highlighted to us once again - very few people actually understand the laws relating to dogs in Ireland.
We believe that education and enforcement are key to improving lives for dogs & it is with this in mind that we formed Dog Law Ireland. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea - to educate people, to advocate for better laws and to push for greater enforcement.

Sashay for Strays
Dog Law Ireland and the Irish Dog Father held “SASHAY FOR STRAYS” on 20 June 2025 in aid of four amazing dog rescues: DOGS ANGELS IRELAND, WICKLOW ANIMAL WELFARE, THE HAVEN RESCUE & WORKING ANIMAL GUARDIANS.
We raised an INCREDIBLE €10,500 for these rescues and we are so grateful to Street 66 for hosting, Victoria Secret for presenting music bingo, the very kind businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes, Happy Balloon Dublin for creating the gorgeous balloons, face painters Hannah and Rebecca, YES Insurance for sponsoring the event, AC Phodography for capturing the event, Johnny Brennan for creating the gorgeous event poster and to everyone who turned up and supported, we are SO SO GRATEFUL!
